Born in Surabaya, Indonesia; Theddeus O.H Prasetyono is an active member in several National and International Organizations such as the Indonesian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (INAPRAS)ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) as the international member, Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Medicine (APFSRM) and Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (APFSSH) as a national delegate. He was the Asian-Pacific representative and the national delegate in the Board of Representative of IPRAS and he currently hold the position as the President of OSAPS (Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery).

As a member of the scientific community, dr. Prasetyono frequently delivers lectures in various seminars, training, and scientific meetings all around the globe. In addition, he is the author of numerous scientific papers and books. His main topic of interest for research is “one-per-mil tumescent technique," in which he had published papers and presented in various symposiums, both national and international. Apart from that, he also puts keen interests in training and education, as well as equipment and simulator development.

 

He currently resides in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is also committed in numerous public mass services on cleft lip and palate operation throughout Indonesia. For his dedication, loyalty, honesty, competencies, and discipline as Government Officer for 20 years to the Republic of Indonesia, dr. Teddy received the “Satyalancana Karya Satya” honor from the President of Indonesia in November 2008. Dr. Teddy had also received numerous awards for his scientific writings from 1997 until 2020.
