ABOUT ME
Theddeus O.H Prasetyono is an active member in several National and International Organizations such as the Indonesian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons (INAPRAS), ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) as the international member, Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Medicine (APFSRM) and Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (APFSSH), International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (IFSSH), International Confederation of Plastic Surgery Societies (ICOPLAST) as a national delegate. He currently holds the position as the National Secretary of OSAPS (Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) and also serves as the ISAPS Resident Education and e-Learning Committee Chair. He is the President of the 7th Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Microsurgery (APFSRM) Congress.

Within academia, he is the current Chair of the Professor Council at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. He is also a founding member of the Indonesian Council of Medical Professors (MGBKI) and serves as its Secretary General.
As a member of the scientific community, Prof. Teddy frequently delivers lectures in various seminars, training, and scientific meetings all around the globe. In addition, he is the author of numerous scientific papers and books. His main topic of interest for research is “one-per-mil tumescent technique," in which he had published papers and presented in various symposiums, both national and international. Apart from that, he also puts keen interests in training and education, as well as equipment and simulator development.
He currently resides in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is also committed in numerous public mass services on cleft lip and palate operation throughout Indonesia. For his dedication, loyalty, honesty, competencies, and discipline as Government Officer for 20 years to the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Teddy received the “Satyalancana Karya Satya” honor from the President of Indonesia in November 2008. Prof. Teddy had also received numerous awards for his scientific writings from 1997 until 2020.
